We carry large stocks of our most popular stoves, hearths and flue systems at our nearby warehouse in Peckham. And we can often install these for you at quite short notice, thereby saving the sometimes long lead times of our competitors.

SURVEY

Use our Request a Survey form to let us know a little bit about your project. Once we have this initial information we’ll send you some prices so you have an idea of the costs before we proceed to the survey. If you're happy with the estimated fees we'll go ahead and arrange a survey at your home. This survey is to measure up and confirm which products will fit the available space, check access to the chimney stack, assess general feasibility of the project, and to see if we are likely to encounter any problems - it is not a sales visit.

QUOTE/INVOICE

After we receive the results of the survey we’ll email you a quote which will include the stove, the necessary components and the installation costs. On acceptance of our quote we'll contact you to book an installation date, and at this point we will send you an invoice to pay a 50% deposit. Once deposit monies are received we’ll order components and confirm the installation date with you.

INSTALLATION

Our products are installed by carefully selected teams of highly experienced stove fitters, all of whom we’ve worked with for years. On or before the day of installation please remove any items of value from the room the team will be working in. They will cover large pieces of furniture with dust sheets to protect them, and flooring will be covered with an appropriate floor protection. Most installations are completed within 1-2 days depending on the complexity of the installation. However there may be times where it can take a little longer if unforeseen works are needed. 

COMMISSIONING

The team will test the appliance and run through the operation of it with you. They will leave the manufacturers instruction booklet, and our handy guide to the use of your new stove, which will detail everything you need to know. Feel free to get in touch if there is anything you are unsure about, we are always happy to help.  

CERTIFICATION

Once final payment is received your stove and flue system will be registered with HETAS and local authority building control. In around 3 weeks you will receive a certificate of compliance with building regulations (through the post). Keep this certificate in a safe place as you’ll need it should you come to sell your home.
