The Onyx Liv 3 is a freestanding gas stove with a tall, cylindrical body that makes a striking contemporary centrepiece. Its sweeping curves and clean lines give it a sculptural presence, whether it stands in a fireplace recess or out in the open as the focal point of a room.

Glass panels at the front and on both sides give a 180° view of the flames, which rise tall and slow through highly realistic logs. Behind them, the mirror-polished EchoFlame™ Black Glass Lining adds depth and definition to the flame picture from every angle. Onyx Liv 3 Gas Stove

The Liv 3 is 498mm in diameter and 1208mm tall, rising to 1224mm (conventional flue) or 1232mm (balanced flue) at the top of the flue collar. The conventional flue model suits homes with a chimney, and for masonry chimneys it can be fitted with the optional linerless flue kit instead of a full flue liner, making installation simpler and more affordable. The balanced flue model needs no chimney at all and can be vented through an outside wall or the roof. Installation must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

The three-sided glass shows the flames from the front and both sides, so the fire can be enjoyed from across the room as well as straight on. The burner produces a tall, lazy flame that moves through the logs much as a wood fire would, while the black glass lining reflects it back for a deeper, fuller display.

Heat output ranges from 2.1kW up to 4.5kW. The conventional flue model is up to 78% efficient, and the balanced flue model up to 94.3%. Both are available for natural gas or LPG. A fully integrated control system and thermostatic remote handle ignition, flame height, heat output and switching off, and can hold the room at your chosen temperature.
