Wood-burning & multi-fuel stoves
Onyx brings more than 40 years of British design and engineering to every stove it makes, and its solid fuel range builds on decades of expertise in burning wood cleanly and efficiently. As part of the Stovax Heating Group, Onyx designs and tests each model in its own research and development laboratories.
The collection comes in two styles. The Athos has graceful proportions and heritage-inspired detailing for a classic look, while the Olympus has clean, contemporary lines for modern interiors. Each comes in two sizes: the 5 is a dedicated woodburner, and the larger 5 Wide has a fixed multi-fuel grate for wood or approved smokeless fuels. All four have a steel body and a cast iron door that opens to 180°.
Every Onyx stove is Ecodesign compliant and approved for Smoke Control Areas as standard, with Cleanburn and Airwash systems for efficient burning and clear glass. A convector heat system spreads warmth around the room, and an optional outdoor air kit lets the stove draw combustion air from outside.

The Onyx Olympus 5 is a wood burning stove with clean, contemporary lines and a refined, understated presence. It is designed for modern interiors, where its simple form sits comfortably in an open-plan space or a minimal fireplace setting.
As a dedicated woodburner, the Olympus 5 is optimised for burning logs, with Cleanburn and Airwash systems for efficient combustion and clear glass. The steel body is paired with a cast iron door that opens a full 180°. It is A+ rated, meets Ecodesign standards and is approved for Smoke Control Areas as standard. Contact us to find out more.
Onyx belongs to the Stovax Heating Group, whose 40-plus years of British design and engineering stand behind every model. Each Onyx stove is developed and tested in the group’s own laboratories.
Olympus stoves can take their combustion air from the room or, with the optional outdoor air kit, directly from outside the home.
Standard (room air) – The stove draws air from the room it heats. Your installer will advise whether a fixed air vent is needed under Building Regulations.
Outdoor Air Kit – Ducts air to the stove from outside, which suits well-insulated, airtight homes and helps avoid drawing warm air out of the room.
