Over four decades of British design and engineering have made Onyx one of the most highly regarded names in premium home heating. As part of the Stovax Heating Group, Onyx develops every fire in its own research and development laboratories, using advanced burner technology to create flame pictures of exceptional realism.
The Onyx gas collection covers a range of styles and spaces. Choose from the Avanti 65 and larger Avanti 85, sleek landscape fires for a hole-in-the-wall installation, or the Eclipse 60HL, whose ImmersiFlame™ triple burner sends flames up through the logs like a real wood fire. For a freestanding focal point, the cylindrical Liv 3 gas stove gives a 180° view of the flames through its front and side glass.
An Onyx gas fire brings real flames at the touch of a button, with no logs to carry and no ash to clear. Thermostatic remote control keeps the room at your chosen temperature, and with conventional and balanced flue models available, there are options for homes with or without a chimney.

The Onyx Avanti 85 is the larger of the two Avanti gas fires, giving a broad, panoramic flame picture for living spaces that call for a bigger focal point. Set into the wall in landscape format, it pairs a minimal black exterior with a realistic display of flickering flames over glowing embers.
The flames rise through a hand-painted Split Oak log-effect and are reflected in the EchoFlame™ Black Glass Lining, which adds depth and makes the fire look fuller from every angle. Choose a conventional flue or balanced flue model, run on natural gas or LPG, and finish it with an Edge+ or Expression frame, or none at all. Contact us to find out more.
Onyx belongs to the Stovax Heating Group and draws on more than 40 years of British design and engineering. Its fires are designed and tested in the group’s own research and development laboratories.
