Onyx Mirage 40i Electric Fire

The Onyx Mirage 40i is made to fit the typical 16-inch fireplace opening, so it suits both period homes and modern interiors. It is available with three styling options – the Arts, inspired by the early twentieth-century Arts movement, the traditional Chartwell and the curved Wave – in a choice of finishes including polished brass-effect, polished chrome-effect, highlight polished and black. All are priced the same.

The exposed log-effects are lit from within, and sit on an ember bed made up of lifelike glass and vermiculite media. Combined with the real flame visuals of the Mirage Virtual Flame System, the result is an immersive firebox with a genuine sense of depth.

The 2kW programmable heater delivers warmth on demand, and the heat can be switched off entirely so the flames can be enjoyed all year. A fan-only setting provides gentle air circulation, while energy-saving features such as open window detection help reduce energy use. The fire can be controlled using the thermostatic remote or the app.
