ESTIMATE/SURVEY
Once we have the initial info on your log burner installation from the form, we’ll send you an initial estimate to outline costs. If you’re happy to proceed, we’ll arrange a home survey. This is not a sales visit – it’s a technical check to:

- Confirm which stoves and components best suit your home
- Identify any potential access or installation challenges
quotation & booking
After the survey, you’ll receive a full written quotation covering:
- Your chosen stove
- Any additional components (e.g., flue liner for log burner)

Once you accept the quote, we’ll arrange an installation date. A 50% deposit secures your booking, after which we order all components and confirm timings.
Log Burner installation
Our certified wood burner fitters handle every installation with precision. On or before the day, we ask you to remove valuables from the room.
We protect flooring and furniture with dust sheets, and most installations take 1–2 days, depending on complexity.
commissioning & handover
Once fitted, we fully test your stove to ensure it operates safely and efficiently. Our installer will:
- Show you how to use and maintain your new stove
- Provide the manufacturer’s instructions
- Leave you with Firefly’s quick-start guide for easy reference
certification
After final payment, we register your stove and flue system with HETAS and Local Authority Building Control. Within three weeks, you’ll receive a certificate of compliance – essential for insurance and when selling your home.
after-care & assurance
All our wood burners are Eco-Design ready and comply with the latest regulations. We can also supply ‘Ready to Burn’ wood and accessories such as stove fans. Our team is always available for advice - our excellent Google really do speak for themselves!
